This thread is to show you how to run a battle between yourself and a buddy. Between you two, decide who will RN it and who will calculate the battle stats. The one who calculates the battle stats must use the formulas listed here to create a set of battle stats.
I will use an example where every stat of both characters is 5 (20 for HP). This is just for simplicity's sake, and not realistic. You're likely to have completely different statsets because of levels, growths, bases, and the like. Their weapons will have 5 Mt, 5 Wt, and 100 Hit.
The RN can be flipped depending on the choosing of the statter. Now, you post this here in the Arena for the RNer to see.
With that done, the RNer must first roll a random number (this site is best for this purpose) between 1 and 2 to see who goes first. If it's a 1, the character with the RN of 1 attacks first, and if 2, the character with the 2 goes first. Fighters alternate starting rounds after the first round.
Note: If you have 4 or more AS than your opponent, you strike twice in a round, your second hit being the third hit in the "round". If you have a Brave weapon, you deal two hits in a row, and if you have a Brave weapon and 4 or more AS, you deal two hits, your enemy counters, and you deal 2 more.
The RNer must then roll about 20 or 30 random numbers between 1 and 100. The option to list them at the end of the post is available, but you have to put them with the attacks, as I will show in the example.
The RNer must copy and paste the battle stats of the Statter into a new post in the Arena, and then start the battle. To find out if your character hit or not, just look at the RN! If it is between 1 and your Hit, you deal damage equal to your Atk. If you have any Crit, a second RN will determine if you critical (3x damage) or not. 1 - Crit is a successful critical, any higher is just a normal hit. If it's higher than your Hit, you miss.
The battle will continue until one fighter is defeated. The one left standing is the victor. Calculate weapon usage, weapon exp gain, and exp gain after the conclusion of the battle as well for your statter to see.
Once that's all done, you've finished the battle! Update your Character Profile with the appropriate gains. If you happened to level up - good job! You can post in the Level Up thread to get a mod to roll your stat gains.
