Your character's Affinity and the Affinity of the character you Support with affect the Support Bonus you receive on a Map Battle if you are within 3 tiles of that character. To find your support bonus, you add the stats corresponding with your affinity and the stats corresponding with your partner's affinity to both characters. If it is a C support, do nothing else. If it is a B support, double the support gains. If it is an A support, triple the support gains. Round down if decimal at the end. Note: Crit Avd is added to your Luck when calculating an opponent's Critical % on you. Example: Fire supports Light. Both characters receive +1 Atk, +0 Def (0.5 rounds down), +5 Acc, +2 Avd (2.5 rounds down), +5 Crit and +0 Crit Avd. If it was an A support, they would each receive +3 Atk, +1 Def (1.5 rnds down), +15 Acc, +5 Avd, and +15 Crit. See? Supports can be pretty handy in a Map Battle. They mean nothing in a regular Arena Battle, though. Another note: You may only support up to 5 characters. C rank supports count as 1. B supports count as 2. A count as 3. As such, you can have 5 C's, 3 C's and a B, 1 C and 2 B's, 1 B and 1 A, etc. There are many combinations.
